I'm Andrew Sarris. Before I brokered a single load, I drove the trucks. I know what it looks like to pull an oversize move through mountain roads, deal with permit holds at state lines, and sit in a weigh station while a shipper wonders where their equipment is.

I've spent 15+ years in freight and worked most of the roles in it, and I've pulled oversize permits myself. That time on the road changed how I think about every load I book. I built Vector Logistics because I have been on both sides of that equation, and I know what it takes to do it right.

Why I built the permit directory and the Freight Brief

When I was pulling permits, the answers I needed were spread across a dozen state websites and PDFs, and the fastest way to get them was usually a phone call and a hold queue. So I put the basics in one place. The permit directory covers legal limits, pilot car rules, curfews and holiday restrictions by state, with every fact linked to the official state source. If it saves you a phone call before you plan a move, it did its job.
